I have a Fender Princeton 65 solid state amp that I got a long time ago. I havent used it in years, but started messing around with it again and am really digging the sounds I'm getting from it.

Now, after I play through it for about 30 minutes or so, it quits producing sound. I don't know if it is over-heating or what.

Also, there is a huge difference in volume from 1 to 2. On 1, it is barely audible enough to hear well from 10 feet away, but at about halfway between 1 and 2 you can hear the volume jump up without even striking a note, then it is significantly louder, more like going from 1 to 6, not 1 to 2. I know 65 watts is pretty stout, but surely the volume shouldn't jump up that quick.

The cutting out is new, but the volume has always done that from what I remember.

Anybody got any ideas on either?
