I’m new to this Forum, but I own some Fender equipment and would appreciate any input on pdf files and or any other useful information from other.

Question 1.
First off I own and love my Fender Acoustasonic Junior DSP Combo Amp with Effects, and I would like to learn more on utilizing it capabilities. Is there a way to split and control my XLR output separately that I input into one channel of our bands Yamaha 1200 Stereo PA? My band members complain that the sound mixes and they can’t isolate the vocal from the guitar. Since there is only one XLR output, I think they are correct. Unless someone has an alternative setup that I don’t understand? I do have a Boss GT-10 and I think if I use a four or five patch chord setup, that the sound of my vocal input should be separate from my guitar output. But that won’t give master control to the PA, wouldn’t still be slaved? Even though the Acoustasonic is two channels, both channels are mixed when they output the XLR correct. I just would like to make my band mates happy, and still be able to use my amp and pedal effects, without they vocal audio getting lost in the mix.
Question 2.
I recently got a vintage duel Fender Lap Steel guitar, and I need some good links for learning more about everything on that beast! It’s pre 1953 and I don’t know jack about it, but it sure is cool. I have found a few interesting links on Youtube that have been helpful, but that’s all so far. And until I change the stings and pull the hardware, I’m not exactly sure on Model number or year it was built, there is only the number 222 one of the duel headstocks.
Question 3.
I also have a Fender Champ 30 Amp, but the only PDF I could find on Fenders site was a schematic for it. It’s pretty simple to use and somewhat limited, but it was free and I like it. Anybody knows where I can get a manual or find a user group. I just like to get all the documentation for equipment I own if I can.

Thanks all for indulging me! J

Use a D.I. box between your guitar and the amp and another between the mic and the amp. Then send both signals separately to the P/A and to the amp. Or just forget sending your mic to the amp and go straight into the board.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Thanks BMW-KTM for the tip!
I wonder if I can do it that with our Shure PSM 200's? Three of us each have one and we feed our vocals inputs into the Yamaha PA. But I only use one output, but I do have two XLR outputs available, and so do the other two guys. I usually patch the harmonica player and my vocal into each one of the inputs, and then go out one of the outputs and into the board to hear his mix. I think all of us are only using one output of the Shure PMS 200’s, unless the harmonica player is feeding his source out twice, once to me, and to the other Shure PMS 200 and then to the board. Our harmonica player thinks that the mix is kept in a loop with this setup so we who use them can hear that mix, but I’m not sure if I agree? I’m just trying to think out loud here and see if there is a way to achieve splitting my sound, while keeping the integrity of the mix, with the existing equipment. Maybe all I would need would be only on DI box at board? What do you think? Thanks again for your assistance with this technical issue!

PS: Up till now I have been running my guitar separate from my pedal to the board, but I like an echo effect on board my amp that I can’t utilize with that setup. That’s the whole reason for this issue in the first place. Our band leader and lead guitarist runs the PA, and needs to have master control over my sound, hence splitting the channels. Thanks again!

BMW-KTM.
Also, sorry I forgot to mention about the Shure PSM 200's? before, I’m still getting used to using this equipment, it’s new to me. After thinking about my post, I don’t think it will work, do you? I think I still need to split the signal behind the Amp with a DI box, if I did not have to feed the harp into my Shure I could go it and our both inputs and outputs, why would I need the DI box at the PA board, why not just use two separate channels and call it good? Like I said, I’m a newbie to this kind of setup and it helps me, to thinks this stuff through, out loud. Also, I checked out your link http://www.radialeng.com/re-products.htm but not sure which box is enough to do the job, but not over kill either? Any suggestions. Thank you, Thank you, again for putting up with my ignorance with this issue.
