I just bought a used HRDLx and the Reverb knob does nothing, no spring sound when I move the amp or anything. I checked the tank output wire and it's hot, and I understand a dead reverb tank is a common issue with these amps.

So I'm trying to buy a new 4EB3C1B long delay reverb tank, but I can't find an Accutronics one anywhere--they're all sold out or out-of-stock. I asked around, and the person from Mojotone said the factory got shut down and they won't be getting any more.

Can you think of any long-delay alternative reverb tanks I can buy? Hopefully that solves my reverb woes.

Thanks

I believe the remaining acutronics stock was bought up by Mike Zaite (Dr. Z amps) for his standalone reverb. This is from a GP review of their reverb tank.

I'd go on ebay.

This Mojotone is a poor excuse? http://www.mojotone.com/amp-parts/Rever ... e-2-Spring

Also, none of the other Accutronics tanks will work with the HRDLx, short of major rewiring?

Hey DJ, I think a Belton tank would be fine for your amp. Most of the lush sound of the best reverb units has to do with the circuit design surrounding the tank. Ampeg, Fender, Hammond, and Magnatone come to mind. Art

Hi..

Google for a reverb tank by company called Ruby. I know they do a replacement tank for the Blues Junior which also has a reputation for broken reverb tanks. It's well reviewed. I'm assuming they also make one suitable for your machine.
