Hi there! I've read many conflicting reports about the effects loop of the HRD. Can you tell me if the loops is in series or parallel? Thank you!

It's a little more than an effects loop. The preamp out can be used like a line out and it will still send a signal to the HRD power amp. When you plug a cord into both the preamp out and the power amp in, it's a series effects loop. It has solid state buffer amps in the form of an IC chip (TL072) in both send and return. If you don't like the preamp of the HRD, you can plug into the power amp in and use only the power amp.

Fantastic! Thank you! I have been using the amp with the 4 Cable Method with a Boss GT-10. I've been using the preamps in my mfx. Everything makes more sense now. Thanks again!
