It's probably the fuse. It could be a shorted power tube that made the fuse blow or possibly just a bad fuse. If it's brand new, take it back and get another one. The HRDlx isn't really known for its reliability. Don't get a brand new amp repaired, just get another one.

No Problem. If it blows again, it may be one of the power tubes shorting.

If you're gigging, you should always have a full set of spare tubes and a backup amp of some sort. I'm going to try out an Electro Harmonix .22 Caliber. It's a 22 watt SS amp that's the size of a small stompbox. It only has a volume knob and a tone switch. It 's cheap and might work in a pinch. :wink:

Try the Smokey amp - it's what I carry in my gig bag/guitar case for just such an occasion. With a mic on the amp, that sucker'll push a 4x12 cab. Not a lot of clean though...

Luckily I have my Super Champ XD for any such occasions.... :wink:
