Hey all - just got a fantastic SS amp, a STAGE 160 (not DSP !). It's in good condition, but the reverb doesn't work. There is no reverb on either the clean or Drive channels, no matter how high I turn the control. The guitar signal remains strong, but there's a loud humming/buzzing noise as soon as I turn the reverb up. The higher I turn the reverb control, the higher the noise gets. I'm not much of an electronics expert, but I've a feeling this might be something I can manage at home. Any ideas for fixing this? Thanks in advance.

I have the same amp and the same problem. I've thought about taking it to a local repair shop, but I don't want to pay a small fortune to have it repaired. Please post if you come to any conclusions about the problem.

IIRC the Stage series amps have their reverb tanks mounted within the chassis itself, with the I/O signals handled by a ribbon cable and connector. You might inspect yours to see if the cable has worked its way loose and, if necessary, re-seat the connector.
