Apart wattages, anybody tell me difference between the 2.
Soundwise ?
I play Country, rock, I am looking for a clean sound and also a crunch sound.

But still these 2 are tooooo loud for me, but I just love the sound, comparing
them to low wattage amps.
After that all I need is to attenuate them

Why not a Blues Jr? sounds great, gets pretty loud, and if you need louder, stick a mic in front of it. The other guitarist in our band has one and loves it.

The Blues Jr is missing something, also it sound boxy and tin.
The HRD sounds a litle more woofy and more guts and headroom.
I tried them side by side, great difference, and I think the
EL84 in the BJR compare with the 6L6 make the difference.
thanks for your help

Be sure to try the HRD cranked, that's where it's flaws are like the farty speaker and the ice pick in the forehead overdrive channels.

The Supersonic is a better amp than the HRDX for sure, worth the extra $, doesn't do the farty low end thing, the gain channel doesn't have that harshness, and it doesn't suffer from the same overheating related bad solder joints probs either. How much watts do you need tho, that's the crucial thing - how much clean headroom? Do you need to channel switch or do you prefer a stomp box?
