I am seriously considering one and wanted to hear what you all may have to say. Not sure if I'd get the FM65 or FM65DSP. Any input would be appreciated. If I don't get the DSP, I'll be getting some sort of multi-effect pedal in the near future. I only play at home and currently have a GDEC Jr. My son recently started playing drums and I need something with a little more kick. I would also like something that is a little step up sound wise from the JR also, not just louder. Thanks for the input.

I used to own an FM65 (with the single 12" speaker). It was okay as far as amps go. Cleans were decent. Drive channel is useless. Sounded good at lower volumes, although the volume is fairly touchy - going from real quiet to real loud in a very small turn. At higher volume the amp starts to sound very "boxy". I could play it with a drummer, but it didn't sound so good when I did. I ended up selling it and moving into tube amps.

i can only speak to the older FM model. i love the cleans they get. i would use a transparent OD through to get a nice crunch sound. the Drive channel is okay if you like the character of it. huge mid-hump, which can be muddy. its great for a les paul sound/generic rock tone.

i never did find what the differences are between the FM and the reissue. anybody know?
