Pierre,

Honestly i dont remember but it was a supply store on ebay.
i bought a few different colors. I put an amber one on my Blues Dlux RI

ADAM

I'm pretty sure the amber one perfectly match with the tweed of the Blues Deluxe RI. But what I wanted to know is if it's difficult or not to install a jewel light on the blues Junior.
Thanks

Pierre

pierre,
It has been awhile since i modified that so forgive me for not really tracking with you.

i used a step drill to enlarge the existing indicator lamp hole and installed a standard fender light bulb housing that i could screw a regular sized jewell into. Just hook up the existing 2 wires, install a new bulb and viola!! Big light time!!
Check out this EBAY store a s they have the jewells and light mounting sockets in stock at good prices.

Left to right, top to bottom:

Deluxe 900, Hot Rod Deluxe, Mini-Twin, GDEC-30, Super Champ XD, Twin Reverb Custom 15. Do I love Fender amps or what?

Amazing setup bro. I Love it, and that is big coming from me. I only play GK's and PV's normally but that thing is a monster. How many watts is it? I have never gotten the chance to play any Fender amp bigger than a Bassman 210 and it was alright but not enough for me. This would be perfect, but I'm sure it was outrageous pricewise right?

The head is 300 All-Tube watts and the cab handles 1000 watts continous, 2000 peak. Yeah the prices are up there, but it's been worth it. Got the cab for $1150 and the head for $1200. Never had to pay any shipping either. I totally scored on the 5-string Jazz. Picked it up at the local pawn shop for $250. They didn't know what they had. :P

Hope this is not out of line for this post....................

jkzimm: Just gotta know how that Super Champ XD compares with all of that other excellent hardware in the pic. Is it more than a "practice" amp?

Hey Chet. That is one beautiful Blues Junior. I'd love to see a pic of the matching pedalboard.

Just picked it up last week and man its a monster...made sure the bias and balance were all good and they were right on from the factory...this is a great amp and i'm sure i will always have it...i've got my eyes on a new 62' vintage hot rod reissue now...those are great guitars and would be a great addition to my new amp!
