I have a 94 Blues Deluxe and have a adjustable bias pot installed a few years ago. There is a contact point, one for each tube , so you can set the bias for each one . My question is what value do i set them to ? The tubes that are installed are NOS Phillips 6L6WGB. Lately the amp seems to be running colder and the sound seems somewhat weaker and not as responsive as it used to be . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, if I understand you correctly, you have a trim pot(adjust-control) for each power tube, right? Or is it one control to balance the two tubes? At any rate, I'd set the bias at 32 ma per tube and see how that sounds to you. The degrading conditions that you described, are usually signs of normal power tube wear. Art

Thanks for the info. There is one control pot to balance the tubes. I will set them at 32ma for each tube and see how it sounds. I let you know how it turns out.
