I was just wondering how many of you have fender frontmans? I have a fender frontman 15g. 35 watts, not to big not to small, great for a practice amp. I've had it for about 3 years, I've been trying to get some sort of marshall amp though.

i have the old school FM212R. not bad at all, i currently use it for gigs where i wouldn't use my Pro Jr. one example was in a parade on a flatbed truck.

i actually don't mind the marshall MG series, funny seeing that mentioned. i have the older MG15CDR, not the new generation. maybe things changed? it's clean channel ain't bad. does well with a strat and overdrive pedal, like a BD2 or OCD, as long as the box isn't dimed though. the input stage gets loaded pretty easily. i agree that the OD channel ain't worth a crap. i'd possibly use this amp at small band rehearsals if the clean channel could be a bit louder. maybe if it had a 10" spkr. i tried using it once and it just missed being loud enough with the volume dimed. the songs we play aren't even that heavy. oh well, it does well for practice at home. the FM212 and pro jr are too loud there.

I've got a few. 15G, 15R, 15DSP, 25R, 212R. Also gt a Stage 160DSP, a 15G Starcaster and an Automatic GT. My favourite is the 160DSP. But at home here I tend to use the 25R most of the time as it does not take up too much room.

Be careful you can overload this amp if you try to push it to hard it will blow out. Also the speaker are only 50 watts be careful especially if you are using a pedalboard.
