Warm yes, not dark at all.

And might I say, Mr. blues bondsman, that setup looks terrific! :D

I put a C-Rex in my Blues Jr. I have since traded off. It worked worked great in that Blues Jr. and added some depth and warmth it's tone. I have one in my Blues Deluxe Reissue also and I hook it up to a 2 x 12 cab with two Texas Heats. I have had really good luck with the Eminence brand of speakers. They don't break the bank and they give me the tone that makes me practice way to much...

I also put two Ragin Cajuns and two Eminence Legends in my old Blues Deville. Man did that breathe some life into that amp.

Someone is gonna scream foul !
But it really isn't hard to improve on the Italian Jensens

What is sad is that Here Fender has a relatively inexpensive speaker Maker (Eminence) in their own country and they farm out the business elsewhere
and people tend to like Eminence products for the most part.
Sure I prefer Weber, but two of my four amps have Eminence in them right now.
My 66 Bassman 2X12 has a Swamp Thang and a Tonker in it.
Sounds Very Nice !!!
And the double C-rex, that sounds nice and Tweedy to me !
