Does anybody know how long the pre-amp and power tubes usually last? Let's say I play for two hours a day, how long would my tubes last?

If you play at bedroom volume your tubes could last for a number of years. But, if your playing with the amp dimed they likely won't last very long at all.

Pre-amp tubes do not need to be replaced until they become micro-phonic. They do not see the high current the power tubes have to endure. Hence they have a much longer life than the power tubes. Of course you can experiment with different brands of that will an effect on the sound of your amplifier. The same holds true with power tubes.

Power tubes duration depends on how often the amplifier is working at its limits (the volume), how many gigs (hours & moving it). From a hot stage to a cold vehicle/trailer is really hard on tubes, not to mention how much it gets bounced around.

Basically if you are a busy gigging musician, a year could be pushing it in terms of the tube losing desirable tonal qualities (losing top/becoming muddy/sloppy sounding). Fender amps. seem to be placing color coded Groove Tubes in the power section. So when it comes time to replace the power tubes, you can pop in the new tubes that match the color and specific type (6L6?, 6V6?, etc...) of tube that amp. uses without any other service needing to be done (no biasing of the power section). Mark your calendar and pay attention to your ears. :)
