I know there is a big faction of folks here that hold the Behringer/Bugera amps with a great deal of disdain and often call them junk and warn to stay away from them, but frankly, I'm not finding a lot of fault with them as of yet.

Until it closed late last year, the Musician's Friend Clearance center was was always well stocked with an abundance of Behringer equipment that had been returned as defective or damaged. It certainly influenced my decisions when purchasing low end equipment although I do have a compressor that has worked ok for home use

Given the price, don't be surprised when (not if) it craps out; the dealer will most likely give you a new amp vs. fixing the old one. Hold on to your receipts.

If you're in the market for new headphones, the AKG K270M or whatever has replaced it sound great, but also minimize leakage - great for recording when you don't want headphone leakage into your vocal mic. Very comfortable for extended (10 hours plus) wear.

Well, when the amp gives up the ghost I'm going to be SOL. Both my amps were used so I will have no warranty recourse. But since I have less than half the cost of one "insert leading brand name here" tube amp into both my Chinese amps, then I can't cry too hard when I have to replace them. I wasn't going to go "full steam ahead" into a lot of expensive equipment not knowing if I was going to be capable or even inclined to become a decent guitar player.

Thanks for the heads-up on quality though. I won't waste money on rebuilding a lost cost amp unless it's just tubes in the Bugera.

Those headphones sound nice but probably are a little more than I need! I think it's a safe bet that I'm never going to record... and 10 hours? Whoa! That's a bit long to be playing!

If it takes a dump, try to use the chassis an cabinet and build a little Tweed champ in it.

Good call. If you enjoy it then that's what counts; for your next amp I'd recommend saving up and I think you'll be floored by even better tone.

Entire afternoons and evenings gone from playing, recording and mixing songs with those headphones - very comfortable and sound great.
