Anyone know if Fender ever has had or maybe will at some point have a rack mount pre-amp? I'd kill to get a Hot Rod Deville/Deluxe in a rack mount pre-amp.

I have an ADA MP-1, but used to have a Hot Rod Deville 2x12, and consider that tone to be among my holy grail (kicking myself for parting with that amp).......

Why do you want the preamp section alone anyway?

I have a rack setup (Peavey Classic 120, ADA MP-1, BBE 362, Furman RR-15, etc.) Obviously I would only need the pre-amp section.

I once saw someone had converted a Fender Hot Rod Deville to a Head (eliminating the speakers and extra body). Once I settled on a rack rig, I started thinking about how great it would be to get a 1u or 2u pre-amp from Fender, as the only thing I've seen on the net is an M-80 1u rackmount pre-amp. I prefer tubes, so......
