Does anybody know how to get Bill's address to send him my amp for mods. I looked everywhere on his website and I could not find it anywhere. I sent him an e-mail and am waiting for reply.

Thanks

Make sure you get some sort of warranty. Modding your amp if it's under warranty will void it. Most modded HRD series amps that I've seen where soldering has been done to the board sometimes have reliability issues further down the line.

Why send it to him. Why not get the mods from him and then have your local amp tech install them for you. That's what I did. I cost me $60 to have a tech in Chicago do them for me. I think he has a waiting list of a few months. I was without my amp for three days.

Check out Omega amps HRDLx mods.
I am sending mine to Jim this week. Lots of great feedback on Harmony Central as well as other sites.

Modding HRD series amps sometimes creates reliability issues. Get a good tech to do the mods if you really think you need them. The traces lift very easily on the boards. Personally I dump amps If I can't get what I want out of them with a tube or speaker change, it's history. If you have a good reliable amp, why mess with it? My HRDlx turned unreliable on me without modding it so I sold it.
I agree, if I cant get what I want with a tube and speaker change I would have to wonder what I saw in the amp in the first place.
