It is important to input information when possible.
I bought a Chamption 600 for $99.00,
for use in a family living room christmas tunes enviroment.
it was a great time.

the amp fit the bill perfectly,
and i am so happy with the little chinese made ****** that i am now going to compose some improve music with it to be recorded as i do so,
and post it somewhere online.

fun times.

though,
had i known it was made in china before buying,
i may have just spent the additional 80 bucks and got an american made amp, or maybe a vox i want.

I think its fine. Just swap out the tubes for some JJ's and it's a sweet amp.

It's not bad business for the company doing the outsourcing, they make huge profits. It's bad for the local economy here in the US when all those jobs are lost by a US company or no new jobs are made locally. As far as something being made in China OR Mexico, there are different level of manufacturing. They will build anything you want, any way you want. I saw it in build quality between my old HRDlx and my new Egnater. My HRDlx had thin, cheaply manufactured single sided boards and cheap components, the Egnater made in China by the way, has thick double sided boards, and quality made components.

My biggest problem is the tens of thousands of jobs being lost in the US due to outsourcing while the so called US companies are still reaping the rewards of tax cuts just for having nothing more than a store front here.
