You will likely get a hotter output from the HBs and a fatter, warmer tone overall. Bottom line: yeah, for sure. I use HBs through it in my Yamaha RGX A2 and they sound real creamy and almost Cream-like when the BJ gets cranked.

^^i think your right, im going to get some jj's and a new guitar, and then an external 1x12 later.

i play some chunky style blues, with a lot of palmuted riffing on the bottom three strings, so to get clarity, cleans and the right mixture of distortion and harmonics in one sound is rather hard.

oh another thing i have issues with.

feedback!

when i try to tap, it feedbacks uncontrollably, same thing when i stop playing.

its just a dry signal.

what could it be?
