Hello All,

Wondering if anyone can help here? I've just purchased a CyberTwin SE and am very happy with it's many tonal possiblities. However, I have a few questions regarding some of the terminology and functions of the amp.

First of all, what exactly is a "Tone Stack" I assume it is a reference to the circuitry that makes it "sound" like a certain type of amp eg, Twin Reverb, Blackface Deluxe, Bassman, Tweed etc? but perhaps I'm wrong.

Secondly, how does the "Drive Circuitry" relate to the tone stack? Am I essentially "creating" a new amp by choosing a drive circuitry that differs from the "Tone Stack"?

Thirdly, how does choosing between gain levels affect all of this? Obviously it is increasing the gain level but couldnt I achieve this by adding more gain from the gain pot. How does it differ? (exp Gain level 1 with the gain pot set at 6 = Gain level 3 with the gain pot set at 2)

Finally, how does the "Tone Stack Location" change things?

I've spent a great deal of time experimenting and have come up with some fantastic sounds! What I would like to do however, is get more of a handle on things when trying to re-create the actual workings of say a Twin Reverb or Tweed etc..

Many thanks in advance!
