I purchased a Vibro Champ over the summer and I really enjoy it. As everyone attests - It is versatile with the 16 amp voices. The effects meet my needs. I personally like the idea of dialing the control on the effects. It loud enough for playing in the house. (I play for my own enjoyment and my gear is in my media room which is about 13 x 13) and I can dial it back when I need to keep it low for the rest of the family.

As 63 Supro as stated - You can also find nice vintage amps online.... there is a very early silverface vibro champ for sale on Craigslist (Columbus, OH) for $300 right now. (Which is a VERY good price) So there are deals out there for great vintage amps that will deliver great tone. (Dang I want that amp - but the wife currently has me in a 12 step program for purchasing guitars and amps  )

Even so - its hard to beat the new Vibro or Super for their versatility.

I have never tried the DSP frontman, but the standard ones really dont sound too good at all. If you are more worried about the effects though the Frontmans have good effects for the price.

I like the Champion 600 or Line 6.

listen to the demos in utube or whatever. thats a good way to your amp. the SQ might be lousy but are still more worth than anonymous suggestions. money is expensive.

I have recentley discovered a line 6 guitar port that you plug into your computer and get almost any sound you want. But you can also play it through an amp so I am trying to find an amp that is great on clean and just has an all around good sound for less than 200 $. :)

I am looking for an practice amp for 200$ or less and I dont know if I should get a behringer v tone 210 (I think, maybe 200), a line 6 spyder 4, or a fender frontman. I am lokking for something with a variety of effects and that has great sound for all types of music. If you have any tips or suggestions for different amps then please feel free to right. thanks!

I think it is difficult to buy an practice amp with 200$ or less, however i think that you can find an practice amp for 200$ or less at a second shop. There is many good things there. You can choose and find your practice amp
