I've been looking at the Hardwire reverb too. I've used Lexicon reverbs for years and I've always thought they sound superb. How does the pedal sound? I've seen the review on proguitarshop.com, but I haven't tried one out for myself yet. I want to get some "other" reverb sounds like plate, hall, etc., more "studio" sounding. I got the spring reverb covered with my DRRI.

I love the sound of it. Its a damn good pedal. I was going to buy a reverb tank but got this instead. Happy I did.

My local guitar shop has had an Arion Chorus on his board for ages, really likes the sound.

A Japanese company called EWS is modding the new ones, including making them true-bypass. May be worth looking at.

I also like their flat wah plate for mounting your wah on a pedalboard.

MXR are really good pedals, they sound great and are solidly built. Only bad thing about them is they're way overpriced for what they are but still. Great choice
