I have been searching all over for a power transformer for my Champ 25. There doesn't seem to be one availlable anywhere. As you may know, this amp uses a unique transformer to supply both the tube and solid state sections of the amp. Does anyone know where I can locate one? Fender Pt. No. is 003-9043-000. If anyone has a working used one, I would be glad to buy it. I know that these amps are not yet classics, but it is a nice little portable, with plenty of power. Thanks for any help.

I did some searching to see if I could help but your right this is one hard item to find. I did see a couple of Champ 25's on ebay there is currently one w/ a buy it now price of $225, the other one is up over $1000, it looks like an older version, not sure what production year yours is? Good Luck with your search, maybe someone else on here can give you some more info.

Thanks for the help, Music Parts Guru had one listed when I first started looking, but refunded my pay-pal when they found out they were out of stock. They said they didn't think that Fender was going to build more anytime soon. Others have suggested that it may be possible to install two transformers, one for the 38VCT, and another for the high voltage tube section. It may be that I'll have to wait until the little amp becomes a classic, and the parts will be availlable again.

Thanks, yes I've tried Tubesandmore, Tedwebber, Ampwares, Angela, and MM, among others. Paul @ MM did offer to build a pt for me but he figured it would run 150-200 dollars. On the upside, he included a really great pic. of Jimi from the back of the stage, with two guys hanging on to his stacks while he was playing. I keep hoping someone has a pt on the shelf, or one in a dead amp that's not worth repairing. Thanks again for the reply.
