Hi All;

I have just bought a Fender Hotrod Deluxe (wine red with Vintage 30 speaker)
I am running an Warmoth Strat-style guitar with EMG's including a humbucker on the back end. Can anyone tell me if I should be using Input 1 or Input 2 on the amp?

Also, if anyome has some good settings for the Hotrod I would appreciate suggestions.

Keef

Not sure if the EMGs are active or passive pickups, but input 1 is for passive and input 2 is for active pickups.Hope this helps.

Input one is normal output, input two is -6 dB. Both will sound pretty much the same, two will just be a tad quieter than one. As for settings, you'll find the bass, mid and treble really don't do that much, most of the control is in the volume. These amps usually start sounding pretty good around 3-4, and by then it's pretty loud to say the least >_>

Pretty much. Input two will give you more headroom where as input 1 will break up alot more.
