So I have a HRDeville 410 and the clean channel has a slight hum to it. It doesnt matter if there is a guitar plugged into it or not. If I switch channels to the overdrive side it is perfectly quiet. I work at Guitar Center and play on tons of these and I will say that it is quiet enough that you usually wont notice its there on stage or whatever but it is definitely loud enough to hear in the studio or at home. I have tried a few of them an it seems to be a problem with all of them. If you have one and havnt noticed this noise do this; turn the amp on in a setting that is quiet, have it on the clean channel with no signal being sent through, you can even unplug the guitar if you want, then switch the drive channel. Unless you have the gain set really high on the drive channel, it should go completely silent and you will THEN realize how much noise was there before. Is ANYONE else experiencing this? Ive even tried switching all the tubes out, and there is no change. The noise will only get slightly quieter if you turn the Treble and Presence knobs almost all the way down, but even if the volume is all the way down the noise is still there. WTF? If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated!

I was going to suggest that maybe the contacts between the one of the tubes was a bit dusty which would cause your problem but since you've replaced all your tubes you shouldnt have that problem.

That really is a tough one. Someone round here should be able to give you a good answer but for now, until someone does, id suggest just to use it on the orange drive channel and roll off the gain completely. should give you a similar tone but a little bit brighter.
