The amp is a two year old Blues Deluxe Reissue. Does this one need to be rebiased to change power tubes or is it fixed bias?

What do you think that fixed bias means you don't have to check and bias the amp?

Take it to a pro!!!! You need to learn the difference between fixed and cathode Especially if you are changing tube brands.

Trivia most Fender's are biased on the cold side, Colder the worst the tone and too hot will burn up the tubes. Most times you can heat them up for better sound.

+100 Seriously. Fender sets the bias cold so the Groove Tubes last longer. They bias at something like 62mv. Dump the GT's, throw in some JJ's and bias to around 80-85mv. It'll be like a new amp. If you bias GT's that high, they;ll go up in smoke in a few months.

You got it 63supro people don't realize how much better they can make most of these new Fender amps sound with tubes and tweaking or just plane old tweaking as is.
