Its a 2006, 4x10" speakers. I rarely use it, though one time when was using it, 2 of the speakers blew, so the amp has 2 stock speakers and 2 new Eminence Legends, and all new Groove tubes. I bought it new for $1100 (CDN) in 06, what would be a reasonable price for it now? cheers

Hey Ben, seems like 500 is the ballpark figure. Just an amp tech question: when the speakers failed, what was the damage, if any to the amp components ? ART

none that I know of, after the amp stopped working, I took it to a local tech (who came highly recommended) he told me that 2 of the speakers had blown coils, and it was he who swapped the speakers. I had changed all the tubes before I brought it to the tech (thinking that was the problem) Ive probably used it more since that happened than I had before, and everything worked and sounded fine. I was going to replace the other 2 speakers if i kept it, but I really want something smaller (Tiny Terror) I realize that kind of trauma/repair might be a bit of a turn off to potential buyers, how much might that affect the value? It really does sound better with the new tubes and speakers

Ben sounds like you did the responisible thing after the speakers failed, so all is well. If the amp shut down after the speakers failed, there is no harm. Just explain the scenario to the buyer and you're in good shape, if not better than if selling it in old stock form. ART
