I went to GC on black Friday and purchased a new Fender Blues Junior amp.

I've been playing for a year now using a craigslist Fender 25R Frontman. I've been wanting a tube amp since I started learning guitar and so I'm pretty excited about my upgrade.

The price tag was marked at $529.00 but the GC catalog had it at $499.00 and I got the black Friday 15% off so it was $425.00 (plus tax) and twelve
months same as cash financing.

I play a Fender standard Stratocaster. Paired up with the Blues Junior amp I have a great set up. I love Fender guitars and amps!

Thanks you guys! I am loving it so far. I played for awhile before my grandson went down for a nap today. I'm really glad that I made the decision to upgrade....more later after I spend more time using it.

Glad to hear. One thing to experiment with is the interaction of the master volume and the volume knob.To get the maximum clean head room, start with the master on 12, then bring the volume to where you need it.The lower the master, the lower the headroom.

Thanks Toronado!

Budglow I appreciate the tips using the volume knobs. I've been playing a little less than a year and really appreciate the input.

dude the blues jr is an awesome amp.
ask some of the blues jr veterans on tips on settings.
you can go from shimmering cleans to that awesom tube break up with out tearing the paint of the wall. just by messing with both volumes.

congrats. by the way you probably got the nos version tweed with the jensons right?
ah man im jealous of you and budglo getting some badass kickass amps.
congrats to you both.
