budglo, I really like dealing with the small guys epically on a trade in. There's no corporate greed to deal with.

I'll tell you what, I'm really diggin the Rebel through two 12's. It's been a long time since I ran a low wattage amp through two closed backed, ported cabs. Tone to the bone my friend.

DRRI's sound seriously sweet through a bigger cabinet like a 2x12 Bandmaster. :D But then again, it's sweet all by itself.

I would like to try my drri thru a 2x12 and hear it.I bet it sounds awesome. As much as I am liking the drri, I might be dragging my bassman to less gigs.I took it to rehearsal over the weekend and was amazed at how well it cut thru the mix.Our drummer is LOUD too.

A good amp will cut like a knife. I could never cut a mix with the HRDlx. The Rebel cuts great with one 12. Can't wait to try it with two.

It's not watts, it's amp design and speaker efficiency. 20-25 watts is a lot of volume in tube land. That's the beauty of the DRRI. It sounds great, cuts like a knife and is light weight.

Thats for sure.It puts my poor blues deluxe to shame even though its louder and the cabinet size is about the same.I have used the BDX at gigs and it just gets lost in the mix somehow. The blues jr is really bad.I have used it on an amp stand and stood right next to it .
