Not sure if this just has to do with the migration to Fender's new website, but I couldn't help but notice that the 65 Super Reverb is missing from the Vintage Reissue page. Is it discontinued?

I doubt that the Super will be discontinued although it's not one of their best selling amps. I've got a friend that works at Guitar Center that said they seldom stock them "in store" because they are slow sellers. There are quite a few on the used market, and despite great tone they are heavy and many older players who really like its sound are looking for smaller alternatives. He said the DRRI sells very well as does the SCXD. Their best selling Fender amps are the Frontmans but they are also the cheapest and oriented to beginning players, not bad clean tones however. I also love the Super Reverb but at 56 years old I too prefer the smaller package.

I hear ya.I am 51 and just got rid of a nice 75 super reverb because at 85 lbs, there was no way I was gonna be hauling it around.I use my 59 bassman alot, but just recently purchased a DRRI for smaller places and I am probably gonna be using that alot.My bassman isnt as heavy as the super was , but it still is a chore to load up .The DRRI is alot lighter and I plan on using it alot.
