Why can't Fender RI Blackface Bassman heads??

Not a VM, a proper RI.

I so want one.

Lol I read the heading and thought it was a spam ad for some acne creme. I wish Fender would reissue more of the tweed line as a vintage reissue , not a custom shop.I would love to have a 57 tweed deluxe, but no way am I paying 2k for one .To my knowledge, the only tweed amp they offer is the 59 bassman ri.Yet they release much of the 65 blackface line.

I'd seriously dig a Bandmaster RI. A real one though not modified or "improved".

Any old school heads would be welcome, either that or fit the combos with more than one handle. I think I have one arm longer than the other now. Vox have it right with one on each side.

But seriously, I really want one, I've always loved how they sound and it surprises me Fender don't do more heads.

Im the same. You cant beat the cleans of those amps and there really is a lack of great amps for clean nowadays.

Everyone focus's on getting as dirty as possible nowadays! Thats all well and good but i like to add variety to my music (Thus the recent search for a a guitar with good twang and good at crisp distortions and thats why im leaning towards Ibanez and PRS nowadays.)

You can pick up the real deal(65 or 66) for400.00 to 550.00. If Fender did a Bassman head reissue it'll cost you a grand......... 8) Mike...ps. they're on Ebay all the time for this type price. Just find a reputable seller with great feedback.......just my 2 cents. I have a 65 and it's a tone monster....

CC,
Depending on my mood...I use a Fender M80 Bass Combo and head. I bought both of them back in the 90s...man are they sweet plus they were only made on a 5 year run...still pretty easy to find and the sound is oh so sweet!!! You might want to see if you can find on.

Is this an all-tube amp?
