Hey Everybody,
I could use some advice. I recently came across a pretty new Twin Amp chassis, the Evil Twin, I'm told. I built a cabinet for it, the tubes were new when I got it and when I fired her up, she roared. But my problem is that I can't get the reverb to work. I checked with Fender and I have the right tank. I put cardboard on the bottom, put it in a bag, thought I had it grounded but all it does is...nothing. Hum, like mad. How is it supposed to be connected exactly? I've tried switching the RCAs, turning it around, etc. What am I doing wrong? Where exactly is the ground wire from the RCA cable supposed to go? (on both ends?) Help! I'm close to having this baby ready.

Hey Blues, did you work out this problem with the reverb hook up? ART

I bought a 2001 evil twin at an auction a week ago. I can't get the reverb to work either. Like you, I have tried replacing the 12at7 tubes, switch the rca's, and inspected the tank. Maybe its in the chassis...I haven't had time to look at that. I not excited about going into the chassis, as I don't need to get a blast of juice off a cap.

I'll watch this thread for a while.
