I have a couple questions:
1- Guitar Center has a Deluxe Reverb amp for about $1100 usually, and it has a Deluxe amp for about $700. Does anyone know the difference? Is it just Reverb? Do they sound the same to you?

2- I have a Fender Blues Junior Tweed with a Jensen speaker. It sounds ten times better than the normal BJ. Does the Deluxe Reverb sound a lot different than this Tweed BJ in your opinion? I'm not sure it's worth it to think about a Deluxe Reverb since I already have a BJ with Jensen.

Yes, I could listen to them myself (Though Guitar Center is in another city 90 miles away), but I want any opinions. My ear for this sort of thing isn't that great anyway. I listen too hard, if you know what I mean.

Thank you, you guys. :)

The Deluxe Reverb is the 65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue (Known as the DRRI on these forums.) The Deluxe amp you speak of is either the Hot Rod Deluxe or the Deluxe VM (vintage modified). There is many differences between any of these amps, IMHO they all sound different. A DRRI would be worth checking out, some very nice sounds can be coaxed out of that machine. The sound would be different from that of the tweed BJ, but I think different might be a good thing in this case. Also of note would be the Egnater Rebel series has seemed to gain favor in the hands of several players here, if you have an opportunity I'd take a look at that as well. Hope I helped, others should chime in shortly ^^
