Take the old one to Fry's and they'll help you find the right one.

I have a '73 Bandmaster and I always got my fuses from Radio Shack...3 amp "Slo Blow" as I recall (and I think Twins use the same). Take your old fuse with you...if they don't have one in stock, chances are they can order it for you.

One quick note: If your fuse blew, be aware that it probably blew for a reason. Yes, sometimes a fuse will simply blow and yes, it's possible you could have just had a voltage spike from the wall or something, but most of the time when a fuse blows, it indicates that there is a more serious problem. Once you find a replacement fuse (buy at least 2), if the new one blows again right away, be prepared to have the amp serviced.

Just my $.02 worth,
Jim

Most hardware stores stock 3amp time delay fuses (MDL-3), "slo-blo" is kind of an old term. ART

The Home Depot has my favorites - all the Littlefuse packs.

lomitus, I'm a geezer and getting lazier by the hour. If I hadn't been hard pressed to fix a guys amp on a Sunday, I would have ordered it through a catalog. Oh well, you never know. ART

Pugak - you want the following -
F3AL, 250V for 100V / 120V versions
F1.5AL, 250V or F1.6AL, 250V for 230V / 240V versions
For future reference, this information was gotten from the manual, which, if you don't have one, you can find online here at the Fender support website.
PS - the fuse information is also marked on the back plate next to the fuse receptacle.

Thanks! yeah i downloaded the manual it says F3AL which is kinda confusing to look for in a fuse, then later i found the fuse specs from the schematic diagram - it says 3.0A Fast so finally i found it.
