so im looking at new amplifiers. i currently own a FM212R, which is plenty loud and all, but its SS, and a bit overwhelming for some gigs. I also have an epi Valve Junior, which i love, but what it has in versatality compared to the 212, it lacks in features (eq, reverb, master volume) im lookin for an amp somewhere in between.

i was interested in the Blues Junior, whats everybody's take?

thanks in advance

The Blues Junior is a great amp but a little underpowered if you're
playing in a band.If the Epi got a line-out put it through the Fender amp.
Otherwise the Blues Deluxe is a option.

but wouldnt the BJ be somewhere in between the 5W tube and the 100W SS as far as loudness, i mean if i need the power i have it, im just looking for a little bit more powerful tube. if i was looking a tube equivelent of the 212 id look twin or DRRI

Well, i use a 15 watt Vox amp wich is very loud, you can always put
the amp through the PA-system.
I once owned a BJ and it was loud enough for practice with my band.

Good luck
