I didn't set out to do it, but I have wound up owning the entire 65 RI series. It started when I bought the SRRI in 2002 to replace the original 65 that I sold 30 years ago (young and stupid). In need of a smaller amp to lug around, I bought the DRRI a couple of years later. On impulse, I picked up a PRRI at Best Buy a few weeks ago at a close-out price. That inspired me to see if there were any other good deals out there and I wound up buying a TRRI on eBay in brand new condition.

I'd like to hear from anyone out there who owns the enter 65RI series.

You're probably the only one, or one of a very few. Must be nice.

Wow...

So, would it be safe to say that you've got the Blackface sound covered then?

Very nice collection! I wasn't aware you could buy guitar amps at Best Buy. I better start checking them out a little closer.

I have a PRRI that I love. I am a little envious of your collection. If I could afford it, It would be mine. I don't think you will find a lot of people with the whole series. You are a lucky man.

with that type of lineup isnt it a moral obligation to provide an extensive comparative review for those that may be contemplating a singular purchase?!?

Hi daflores

I just put up a thread asking which was best of the DRRi and the PRRi and have no replies yet (sob)... maybe you could let me know if you have a preference between those two?

It's for home use, possibly replacing a SCXD – I only use the clean channel, with a THD attenuator.
