Does anyone have a preference between the Princeton Reverb Reissue and the Princeton Recording Amp?
I have both. I much prefer the Reverb Reissue. The tone is rich and the amp is very responsive. Also its cheaper than the recording amp.
I had the recording amp first and liked it so much that I also bought the reissue. Having played the reissue I now find the recording amp lacking in depth and responsiveness. May be the tubes are at fault - I would have re-biased it but there is no option for this (the Reissue has a bias pot). In addition I suspect the valve rectifier in the Reissue adds to the overall response (It's solid state in the recording amp). I need to have the bass control full on the recording amp but it stills sound flat and dead in comparison to the reissue.
I look forward to hearing other peoples experiences following their comparisons!

Thanks
