Howdy.
Do any of the Frontman amps feature a Spring Reverb or are they all "electronic"?

Cheers.

I figured as much. Pretty hard to fit a spring tank in such a small cabinet I guess. I was pretty sure the 65 had spring reverb but I didn't want to got anything that loud.

Thanks anyway!

I'm not sure about all the Frontman amps but the 65R is definitely spring reverb. There is an acutronics spring reverb tank in the bottom of the amp. I believe the 25R is also spring reverb. I have one and if you shake it with the reverb on you can hear the "crash of spring reverb" although the tank is not visable

My 2005 Frontman 25R has electronic reverb, no spring tank, no "sproingy sound" . I am not sure about older models, or upper line models , but mine is definately electronic.

I have a 25 R as well as a 15 R and both have spring tanks in the chassis head and not below as the larger amps do. My 212R has the tank on the bottom of the amp. My 15 DSP has electronic reverb as does my Stage 160 DSP. I also have 3 more 15 R's in the garage and all have tanks in the head chassis. So, all of my "R" models have tanks. Some visible and some in the chassis head. All of my DSP models have electronic. My Automatic GT is an earlier version of DSP type of amp and it, too, has electronic reverb.

You can save some coin and buy an Electro Harmonix Holy Grail... Use it with the lesser amps, it will still sound great... or spring the cash for an expensive high wattage amp you can't turn up...
