Hey everyone.

I'm loving my new NOS Blues Jr. I'm now really getting in to using the FAT switch, and love the tone difference with my American Strat. My question is for the footswitch. Which footswitches are you using for the FAT switch. I'm thinking of this for playing out, when the amp wouldn't be right in front (or behind) of me to flip the switch with my finger.

There are several options on MF that I'm curious about:

1. http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/prod ... sku=420711

This one is your standard rectangular one (and looks like the included FS with a HR Deluxe, but only 1 button), and it is the cheapest.

2. http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/prod ... sku=420703

This guy is the vintage chrome one, which looks like a funnel, and the cable is attached. It's $10 more. [Note: this is the only one that is labeled as for the BJr.]

3. http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/prod ... sku=420705

This guy looks like #2 but is shielded. This one is $15 more than #1.

What would be the difference in these switches? Would they all work equally for the Blues Jr?

Thanks so much!

I'm pretty sure that just about any on/off foot switch will work. I think I paid about $15 for mine. Choice is up to you though. Mine is not a tweed NOS but...

Any bog standard latching 1/4" jack socket footswitch will do. I use a Boss one.

I'm using a generic one button switch with my Blues JR. I think it cost me about $6.00.
