I can't stand it. I have been trying to get a manual for a Fender Stage 185 amp and no one has been able to help me. How do I get in touch with Fender to see if they have a manual for this amp. The fender site lists every amp EXCEPT this one. CAN ANYONE OUT THERE TELL ME WHO TO SEE ABOUT GETTING THIS MAUAL AND OTHER INFORMATION.

I used to own a Stage 185. Great ss amp. Awesome cleans and super loud. I sold it to get my Blues Jr. but I wish I still had it.
Call consumer relations at 480-596-7195. Ask them for the manual. They can either fax it to you or mail it to you. That is how I got mine.
Btw, the guy who bought mine has the name Ron and his last initial is A. Check out my location...did you buy my amp?

I think I may have the original manual - I'll have to have a look for it and I could fax or email a copy to you if you're still looking. I still have my 185 and have been gigging for over 20 years with it!

Some info on the Stage 185...Made between 1989-1992, came with a 12 in Eminence, output is 160W, and it was a single speaker version of the Pro 185. This amp along with the Pro 185, the 85, and the Deluxe 85 were part of the "Fast Four series of solid state amps.

These were the first successful implementation of solid state amps in Fender's history. These amps all boasted highly complex tone circuitry and controls with labels such as "Contour" and "Tilt". These were good sounding amps and have a good history of being well built and very reliable.

The amps were later remodeled into the Standard Series using the traditional blackface look. The product number was 22-5200 and came with a 3 button footswitch and variable effects loop and extension speaker jack. Price was $619. That is all the information I could find on the amp. If there is a manual on the Pro 185, the only difference was the speaker config, with the Pro having two 12s.
