I just heard about the Fender Amplifier Jewels and I simply loved them!

I chose red because it's easy to see on a dark or dimly lit stage.

Tough decision.
Love 'em all, but I remember years back the only available option
was green. Green is old & cool so I voted for Green.
Now if we could only get Fender to realize the Blues Jr. should have
that Jewel assembly too.

A loong time ago (early 60's,kiddies) one of the cool modifications we did with our cars was to take the taillights out and dip them in a small jar of blue tint
(which was available at auto parts stores, then). When the tint dried, we put them back and put the red glass tail lens back on. That blue tinted bulb under the red lens gave off the strangest, coolest purple-almost ultraviolet color that changed when viewed at different angles!!!
And I did the same thing with the amp bulb from my Twin. That blue tinted bulb under the red jewel was too cool.
Think I might do it again...all I need is find some blue tint. Maybe a spray.
