Blues - Sweet collection you have there. I love that blonde Pro Jr. I've got the tweed version and I love that little amp.
Love that amp as well. I blew a capacitor and some resistors on that amp just recently. I guess, playing it too loud. I just got it back from the service center and it is like new again. The only thing I changed on it was installing a Jensen alnico speaker. It really smoothed out the sound. What speaker do you have in yours?

I still have the original speaker in mine. Well, I should say that I believe it is the original speaker...I bought the amp used from a small store that said it was all original. At $100 it was a good deal that I just couldn't pass up.
Anyway, the speaker is a 'Fender Special Design', I think (I'm at my office right now so I can't check).

Here is a picture of my practice amplifier, a 90's 30 watt Fender Studio Valve. Made in Japan.

Wow JVF, I've never seen one of those. Made in Japan? I guess that would explain the use of the term "valve" instead of "tube". Can you tell us more about it? Is it all tube, SS rectifier, or maybe like the Marshall "Valvestate"?

Thanks, I recently got this from a trade. It has 2 8" celestion speakers, 30 watts, It has 2 channels the Clean channel & Drive channel which uses the 12ax7 preamp tube. It has headphone output, footswitch in & spring reverb.

Nice Amp for practicing. It is made in Japan, maybe in the late 90's.

I bet that thing would sound great for harp (harmonica to all you non-blues cats)...30 watts, 2x8" speakers--it would probably honk & growl like a monster!

How do you like the sound of this one, Alain? I was admiring one in a store a while back, but I didn't get a chance to play through it. What do you think of it? 8)
