It is about $199.99 at MF and GC, talked to a guy at GC and he said they are having a hard time keeping them in stock.

Have you looked at the G-DEC, seems like it would be a good fit for what your looking for. Plus you get the benefits of using or creating your own backing tracks.

I use a POD XT for quite time practice, but am considering a G-DEC to get that live band feeling sound.

You can always check Ebay, it may payoff to save a bit for something with a little more kick.

Get on Ebay and find a Bronco. American made solid-stater with a sturdy wood cab and lacquered-tweed covering. Great tone - I can coax some gorgeous bell-like chimes out of it - and loud if you want it to be.

The G-DEC Jr. has some awfully nice tones w/excellent programmable efx (and fun backing tracks) and you might find a used one on eBay for near your price range. Heck, even new they're not much higher than your limit. I've always liked the G-DEC series for its killer headphones sound and workable quiet speaker tones for night duty. Even the 600 has to be cranked a bit to get it going.

Frontman series 2 isn't a bad little amp, my little brother uses one, my dad even swipes it from time to time to use with this keyboard. But I try to stay away from solid state amps. love the tube tone
