The expected arrival date of the Vibro Champ XD is 11/02/07.. The Super Champ is 11/16/07. Note that these are expected dates as we all know nothing is set in stone.

I think they'll stick pretty close to that. Fender has the clout to get product into the distribution channels far better than Peavey or Korg or Behringer, as we've seen from those companies' almost ludicrous delays of their lo-cost tube products of late in which the question about their amps shown at Winter NAMM is not what quarter are they shipping but what year!

Now it looks like I'll have to be patient until the END of Nov.

If you can trust the info on the web sites, no one else has them. I'm interested in a report, too.

It's a 3-paycheck month !!! :D

I also just placed an order from AMS for one. Sales rep confirmed it is in stock and will ship out to me tomarrow. AMS so far is the only one I could find with it actually in stock for shipping. I asked the rep about this and he said it was because AMS put in a very early purchase order with Fender for them. I am excited as this is just what I was looking for in price, output, and size.

I love that AMS pay-in-3-installments deal! Especially when your GAS outweighs your CASH. I've had good dealings with them, they seem like good people.

BTW, since the VC is single-ended Class-A, it's on all the time, doesn't need a phase inverter, thus the 12AX7 MUST be in the preamp gain stage. This is good news, as it implies the 12AX7 in the SC is likely a gain element as well. So these are NOT hybrid amps, they are true tube amps with the equivalent of a POD in front of them.

1978 6V6-POWERED Princeton Reverb...$1725

2007 Pocket POD...$129

Sub $300 XD series...PRICELESS

I placed my order with AMS after I saw the post by sjones581 last week and on this Monday it was delivered by UPS. Fantastic little amp. Voice includes 16 selections. Tweed, Blackface,British,Hot Rod, Metal,Jazz, & Acoustic. Has 5 FX selects, Vibratone, Delay, Reverb, Chourus, & Tremelo. A lot of tones packed into this one. I must have gotten one of the few first ones when they came in at AMS as I see they are back ordered until 11/30. I would say to place an order for one. Even though there now is a wait you wont regret it when it arrives. A lot of bang for the buck. AMS has great service I might add. :D

Got mine for $220 delivered on a price match. Upgraded the tunbes to Tung Sol and the speaker to a Weber. This amp rocks! Beats the Vox AD30Vt and the Champion 600 I used to own. You couldn't ask for more in a bedroom/recording amp. I can't wait till the speaker breaks in.
