What should I bias my Hot Rod DeVille to?

The HRD site and Eurotubes are conflicting and I am unsure.

Thank you!!

Well, Bob at Eurotubes sell JJ's. He measured the plate voltage and figured 25watts at 450v @ 70% dissipation will give you about 90mv. It can vary between tube manufacturers. In my HRDlx I ran my JJ's at 88mv with no problems. If the tubes are too cold or overbiased, they will sound like $@! but last forever, too hot or underbiased, your tone will get real dirty real fast and you'll go through tubes a lot faster. Try a couple different settings and see what you like.

I have it at 89 at the moment and I like it. Its JJ's that are in.

Thank you!

Cool, no problem. You can tell if it's too hot. The tubes will red plate.
