Amps I dig Fender Blues Junior, Pro Junior, Vibro Champ, Hot Rod Deluxe,
Deluxe Reverb, Super Reverb.

Other amps I dig Peavey Classic 30, Orange Tiny Terror Combo, Epiphone Valve Junior combo, Marshall Class5 combo, Marshall Haze 40, Carr Viceroy, Carr Mercury, Supro Thunderbolt, etc.

I have not heard them all but I hear amps I love all the time. The list can go on for a long time! :)

I have Fender, Traynor, Roland.
Want to swap in a Egnater, and lust after a Dumbel (no chance way too loud)

Of course I love my DRRI, but lately I've been wanting to tap into some higher gain territory, and something with an FX loop and 2 or more channels. Anyways... Back in the eighties I had an amp that I really loved and now I can't find anything about it. It was a brand called Quantum. I had a 25 watt head with chorus(solid state), and I had two cabs. One slanted, one straight, and they each had two 8" dual coned speakers(You know, with a little speaker cone sticking out from around the dust cap in the center). I found some info on some little combo's, but not my particular model. Anyone out there know about this little Quantum mini-stack?

Thanks, but dam, you shouldn't have given up the jcm800. That is one sweet amp. Hopefully one day you can recover it.

I t doesn't surprise me that on a Fender forum Fender is way out in front..What does surprise me is how little votes Mesa has gotten..

The Boogie Mk 1 is an absolutely incredible amplifier.

I'm surprised that Ampeg hasn't made an appearance here. I had my first experience with a '69 Rockerverb Custom the other day and I'm in love. I can't afford it -- no way in hell -- but it was worth telling a lie so I could play it. Should I feel bad?

I voted Peavey and Vox, because I own/love a Classic 30, and would love an AC 15 or 30. Third choice would be Fender, mostly because of the Deluxe.

Fender SCXD is the one I have now, Fender VM deluxe I wish I hadn't sold, and DRRI the one I'm looking for next.

Did I say I like Fender best?

My favourite is my old Mesa .50 cal. It had great clean sounds and bluesy overdrive (not saturated dual rectifier distortion). I wish I never sold her, it was at a time when I wasn't playing enough to justify keeping it. Learned my lesson!

I've owned a Hot Rod Deluxe, was too loud/powerful for home, now I'm stuck with a POS line6. I'd buy a new Mesa but couldn't justify the $$$, so my next amp will be a Blues Jnr.

1978 Fender Silverface Vibro Champ
