What is your favorite brand of amplifiers? If you have more than one favorite, share them both. If you have a specific model, share that, too!

Marshall has been a long time favorite brand of mine. I just learned of Blackstar's excellence at my local Guitar Center. I played on the HT-5S, and is pumps out so much more than 5 watts!

Hey man check out the Super Champ XD. I've played it and it is a fantastic amp and a fantastic value. I own its little bro, the Vibro.

Marhsall and Fender, Egnater a close third, but that's because I've not played it ever.

Why don't you ask SlapChop or 63supro about the rebel 20 ;)

Hey, this is the Fender Forum, so of course I'm here because I'm a big fan of the guitars and amps. I really love the blackface amps and would consider a Super Sonic if I was a gigging musician. Other than Fender, I like Marshall and Orange quite a bit. I like the sound of either when crunchy, but still prefer than perfect Fender clean.

I still have my Twin and Champ, and had tons of Fender amps, but my new Egnater Rebel is hands down one of the best amps I've owned in 40 years. I'm glad I sold the HRDlx to get it. Funny thing is, IMO the Egnater does the Classic Fender sound better than any Hot Rod series amp. It does a credible Vox and Marshall too. Very dynamic and incredibly well built and designed amp.

Ditto. The Rebel apes a Deluxe Reverb and a 5-watt tweed Princeton perfectly, plus all the other cool stuff it does. For the price, it was a no-brainer choice for my studio.

Hello Guitarmangt,

Fender is my Favorite amplifier but I just wanted to
mention back int the day I owned a little Poltytone
solid state amp, quite a little bear it was. It's most
notable feature was how quiet it was with single coils.

Cheers.

I'd say Vox, then Fender, then Marshall.

I t doesn't surprise me that on a Fender forum Fender is way out in front..What does surprise me is how little votes Mesa has gotten..A few weeks ago they did the same poll on Harmony Central and it was Marshall first Mesa Second and Fender Third..
I think the reason for this is real simple your average Fender person probably isn't into the kind of music that needs super high gain amps..That isn't speaking for everyone..As i know there are a lot of metal players that play Fender.
For myself it is real simple Fender twin for the Blues /Country/50'S , 60'S Rock n Roll and anything Clean..Im also a huge fan of the Blues JR for playing Blues also..But the Blues Jr is lacking the throw of the bigger Twin...The Marshall JCM 800 for Classic rock and everything heavy including modern rock pop and alternative...
