Amongst all the downward pressure on Fender amps I just thought I would say that I love my Fender amp. It is a 1965 Deluxe Reverb Reissue Limited Edition with the blond Tolex and a Jensen Alnico speaker. Absolutely beautiful tone. Even with volume around 3 - 4 I start to get a fatter overdrive tone, and a little bit more volume the magic really shows. Maybe because I play a American Standard Stratocaster through it, but I can't think of any amp I would rather have right now. I am in the Tone Zone.

How about you?

Steve :D

I do love my CS 57 Twin Tweed amp! :) Also loved the 65 Twin Reverb Ri that I owned for a few months. As everyone knows they are heavy ( too heavy for this old man) but perfect clean tones!

I also have an old Mexican Blues Jr. that is just right for me for use around the house pratice. I've heard some like them and some don't. I tend to like mine for what it is.

I love my SCXD. Reliability has been very good. Very good for practicing and small gigs. The modeled voices are a good feature. Some voices are very good some are OK.

My Twin Reverb put beauty to my musical expression. Loud and Clean. My late 80's Dual Showman is showing the world that some of the evil twin (red knob) series were actually quite good as it sounds beautiful and has stood the test of time.

Back when (late 60s, early 70s), I had a 66 (or so) Bassman with a 2 X 12" cab that I used almost every night for lead. It got dragged around to who knows how many bars and clubs and never a hint of a problem. It had the perfect tone for the bluesy-rock I played at the time.

(Also doubled as a great bass amp -- deep tone -- when I played in a jazz trio sometimes.)

Now I have a Super 210, a Bassman 210/250 and an SCXD when smaller hardware is called for. Love 'em all and the Super 210 is in great shape despite there having been some QA issues back when they were made.

For the price, I have nothing but good to say about Fender amps and I've been using them for a bit over 40 years now.

Hello JustSteve,

Can't really say how many Fender Amplifiers I have owned,
but I can say I never had a major problem with any of them.
Today I own a Blues Jr which is my #1 though not for everybody
I like mine a lot. I'm also the owner of of a Vibro-ChampXD and
its a lot of fun. Solid state will be my next foray.

Cheers.

I'm absolutely in love with my HR Deville 212. It's everything I've ever wanted my amp to sound like. I love the clean and I use the drive channel as my main OD. Sounds great with effects. I want for nothing with this amp!

Only issue I've had with it was a dead power tube and a burned out pilot light - both easily replaced.

I loved my Rivera Twin Amp. It sounded great both clean and dirty. That thing was built like a tank! I enjoyed the Blues Deluxe Reissue I once owned, but it was a bit too loud and heavy for my purposes. I love the Fender sound, so I'll be getting another one soon.

I can only chime in on vitage. My 65 Bassman still slays em and I'm running a Plexi head on a 67 Dual Showman cab. They still ring sweet. Go Fender. 8) Mike

I love my Texas Red BJ and all of my various Fender guitars and gear. Thank goodness we don't have a noise ordinance where I live. :D

I have owned 4 Fender amps since I was a kid and i`m 50 now.
Never had a lick of trouble with any of them.Well I got a vibro champ in trade for a bike once and had to replace a tube socket but it was fine after that. I`ve had a Deluxe Reverb from the early silver face era as a kid, played guitar and mostly steel guitar through it for many years no maintenance and it never missed a beat. Then I had the Vibro Champ previously mentioned and played it for a year or two before trading it. Then I had A Princeton Reverb One of the last models to have full tubes before they went to the Princeton II models. That was a wonderful amp I wish I had never sold it.Some lucky session guy in Nashville bought that one.
I then bought one of those Cyber Deluxe combo`s and I was pretty much happy with it ,never any problems. So Now I own a Peavey XXX head for high gain stuff, a older Carvin X60B head for cleaner stuff and a small hybrid combo for practice.I have two 412 cabs and a 212 cab.I got the speakers covered.

I am now trying to decide which Fender amp I want to purchase because I really need a Fender amp again.Kinda feel like I`m missing out not having one? So of the three tube Fenders, I have regretted selling each one of them.

Now this is my kind of thread !!!!!

I've loved every Fender Tube amp I ve ever owned and that would have to number in the 30 to 40 amps.

Why so many you ask ??? I buy every used Fender tube amp that I find and hang with them for a while then move on to another (always have a few lying around).

The longest guest was a 1993 Blues Deville I played on for probably three to four years as my #1

Right now I have a USA Deville 1995 50th ann. year model,a 1947-48 TV fron Princeton and a 59 Bassman RI on the way.

And I'm looking hard at the new 57 champ RI

To all those who feel the need to make rude remarks about Fender amps in general, I invite them to go visit the other forum, and hang with the rest of the whinners.
