I must preface this by saying I know nothing about what I am about to ask. So.....

I play through a Champion 600 RI and like the tone very much but the poor little 6" speaker starts to crackle and spit with my Blues Driver OD and NPN Monsterpiece fuzz. I was thinking of buying a Blues Junior (I don't need any louder than 15watt at the most) but then I got to thinking......

How about buying a cab and using the Champ as a "head"?

Suggestions on size,brand, etc..........???

Good idea, just make sure you match the Champs impedance.(4,8,16 ohm) A 10 would be a good size. Check out Webers. I have them in my vintage Bassman cab and they kill. If you'll e-mail Ted about what your wanting to do, he'll steer you in the right direction. 8) Mike ( tedweber.com)

Thanks. I never thought of going directly to Weber. I already put his speaker in the Champ.
