its broke already, had it 3 weeks

drive channel just suddenly wont work,
clean channel still good,

also major tube rattle. also has a mind of its own, you turn it on and it crackles and burps and farts, its just pants.

going to swap for blues junior tweed asap

so let down with fender, i read they were unreliable, and i just hoped for best.

Usually they are fairly good amps.
I recently picked up a LIMITED EDITION from the CUSTOM SHOP it's BLUES SPECIAL in all BLUES with a CELESTION VINTAGE 30 SPEAKER and it sounds GREAT.

Sounds like your missing the new TUBE HOLDERS and they keep a coming loose.

I usually play Vintage amps but this was great for me for practice but if ya want GREAT TONE at a FAIR PRICE go with the PRINCETON REVERB RE-issue.

I played one as my buddy played through my 66 and they sounded so close to being the same it was amazing...

Nice low wattage so tube saturation is great.....Give em a shot...
you may like it better than the BLUES JR....VERY LOW WATTAGE but a TRUE CLASS A amp.

Hope that helps ya..REMEMBER that amps have a 5 year warranty on em

Louis, get a Deluxe Reverb Reissue. Anything lower end on the Fender food chain will eventually give you problems. Or do what I'm going to do and get an Egnater Rebel. For about $150 more. IMHO It's a much more versatile and better built amp.

You guys just don't listen....

Check out used amps.Save a ton of money.I bought a used 59 Bassman RI for 350 and later picked up a 75 Super Reverb in really nice shape for 650.If you keep your eyes peeled , you could score a deluxe reverb for around 600.

The Blues Jr's tend to develop a low end fart that sounds like your speaker's blown. I've heard everything from the way the tubes are seated to transistor problems to explain it, but it still does it. When it works it sounds great. WHEN it works.
