Hello everyone,

Earlier I received some good advice on an OD pedal to get for my 1965 DRRI Limited Edition amp which is paired up with an American Standard Strat.

Any advise on a chorus pedal that will work best with my set up?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Steve

HEY STEVE,
I'm NOT a big pedal guy I like using OLD AX"S with OLD amps and ya get all the great tone ya need but when necessary I prefer to use VISUAL SOUNDS H2O LIQUID CHORUS AND ECHO pedal.

They are top notch and LIFETIME WARRANTIED !!!!

I know the guys up there who make em and they do there best to keep updating there pedals and believe in there own stuff.

The pedal is basically TWO PEDALS and NOW they have made them into TWO seperate pedals as well so you can buy the DOUBLE PEDAL
(which I recommend) or buy just the CHORUS SIDE....

EITHER WAY YOU WIN !!! The double sells for about 140.00 and the single for about 80.00.

One pedal I never play without is the BBE SONIC STOMP..it's hard to explain exactly what it does but to put it in layman's terms' it's like you had a BLANKET ON YOUR AMP and once you plug this in at the end of your pedal chain just before you go into the amp it will give your amp the sound as if BEFORE IT HAD A BLANKET ON IT !!!!
For $99.00 it's the best 99.00 you can spend !!!!

The highs are higher, the lows LOWER, and so one...it's just brings out allthe stuff that seems to fade out quickly without this pedal.

Hope that helps ya.....try going to a GC and using an amp similar to your and an ax like yours try the VISUAL SOUNDS PEDAL..it will give ya a better idea of what it will sound like at home !!!

GOOD LUCK
St James

Hi
I'm a pedal junkie, and I never buy really cheap pedals purely coz "You get what you pay for right"??
But I must say I got the marshall supervibe pedal and its fantastic I think i payed around £45 when it was released and it works very well through my Fender strat and Bogner alchemist.
The Electrohramonix small clone is also a beautiful pedal

PS. Be warned the "Supervibe" ISN'T a vibe its a chorus pedal I think the name is very missleading.

I don't make a habit of using a lot of pedals, but I really like the Danelectro Cool Cat when I want chorus. I don't know if they still make this or not. To make matters worse, they now use the Cool Cat name on a distortion pedal. What delicate genius came up with that idea?

I just researched Chorus pedals and bought a Mod-Tone Aqua Chorus. I tried many and listened to many online. It came to the Mod-Tone and the Visual Sound. I think you would be happy with either. You can buy just a Liquid Chorus pedal from Visual Sound or get the H2O pedal with chorus and delay. There are sound samples there and you can even find a comparison on You Tube. Here are links to each pedal.
